I am an over 65 year old Australian Widow. I have travelled the world extensively. I used to swap through Homelink many years ago but then bought a Motorhome and travelled Australia quite a lot. I have now decided that 4 years has been long enough to grieve deeply and am ready to travel again. I have sold the Motorhome and so - I am back!!! I look forward to swapping anywhere in this big world so if you are interested in loads of sunshine, beautiful beaches & fabulous restaurants then you are in the right place. Surfers Paradise is the surfing/beach capital of Australia.

My apartment is right in the heart of Surfers Paradise with the main Nerang River right in front of the building, where you can throw in a line and try catching a fish. If you walk across the road you can stroll past the many restaurants in Cavill Avenue, the main street in Surfers Paradise and walk to the main beach. You will pass the light rail stop (200m), cafes, bars and clubs, supermarkets, shopping centres, banks and money exchangers, pharmacies and doctors, all of which make for your holiday to be fully convenient and comfortable around the clock.

The main Cavill Ave light rail stop is on the next corner and this can take you to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Gold Coast Convention Centre, Broadbeach, Main Beach, Southport Chinatown, Gold Coast University Hospital and University. The bus stop is also about 100m away and it will take you to all theme parks. In other words you don’t really need a car. There is a ferry nearly in front of the building that can take you to the other side of the river and first stop is the Art Centre (Hota) which also has an outdoor Ampitheatre and indoor movie theatres and performing art theatres. There are quite a few Theme Parks on the Gold Coast including SeaWorld, Movieworld, Dreamworld, Outback Spectacular and Wet’n’Wild.

I will leave your home as I find it and I expect you to do the same. This is a Residential Only high rise so no holiday makers and a lot of the residents would be over 50 years of age. It is very quiet. There is a building Manager at the desk on ground level between 9 -12. There is a gym, sauna, steam room, outdoor jacuzzi, pool, bbq area all for your use to enjoy but be respectful of others. I have a large 75” Samsung TV with surround sound which I expect you to be mindful of noise when watching at night.
