Husband & wife team; we have a daughter in London and, till Covid upset lives, for 18 years had a houseboat on the European canals so we could easily enjoy adventures together.
Glenys & I wish to continue being able to have an extended holiday near her.

Our 2 bedroom + study/piano room apartment is on the 6th floor of a prestige riverfront apartment with outstanding river/city views
The apartment block is serviced by 2 lifts.
The gated apartment complex has secure parking, a well-appointed Gym, a 25 m lap-pool + a 10 m heated pool each with its electric BBQ facility, a sauna, and a full-sized tennis court. The ferry and bus services are at the door and the supermarkets, shops, restaurants, banks, cinema, etc. are just a minute's walk away.
Our large flat TV has access to Netflix.
There is a generous, safe dedicated bicycle path that meanders around the river to the city and beyond, while along the way there are various riverside coffee shops and restaurants.
As well as Oma-Opa bikes, we have tennis racquets/balls so one can make use of the court.
We have a gas BBQ on the balcony but prefer to use the handy smaller electric BBQ plate. The kitchen is practical and has a slow cooker, coffee machine, dishwasher, and all other necessities.
To us, the real blessing of this apartment is the balcony overlooking the always busy river with its ferries, fishing boats, early morning row boats, its bird life, and the city and the mountains in the distance.

Our safe and friendly neighbourhood has all the shopping/medical/banking/eating amenities of inner urban living, yet is sedate with fine, wide tree-lined streets and well-kept stately homes. It is ideal for bike riding up and down the riverside bike path, while there are plenty of flat, or hilly walks to choose from.

Our apartment is situated overlooking the river and city, we spend most of our time on the balcony, reading, playing card games, listening to music, and enjoying a platter of cheese and biscuits and a glass or two of wine before dinner. We enjoy cooking, but there are many excellent local restaurants and food delivery services for the times we don't want to cook.
We used to play tennis every day, but wonky knees put a stop to that activity. To keep fit we make extensive use of the well-equipped Gym and the 25 m pool.
Most days we ride our bikes to New Farm park and beyond to the city; stopping along the way for coffee and snacks, or an evening meal.
The nearby hills are nice to walk.

During our travels, we have amassed many mementos of sentimental and monetary value. We expect visitors to treat them with care and respect.
We will leave a neat, tidy, and clean home and expect it to be in a similar state when we return.
Above all, we trust our visitors to enjoy themselves and make themselves at home. Though we wish for a 2-3 week home swap between 9 May and 27 Jun 2023, our unit will be available from Sat 6 May until Friday 30 June 2023, if somebody wishes to make use of it for that whole period, or part thereof.
If visitors experience any problem our son lives nearby and will assist in sorting it out.
Please, no boisterous parties or smoking.
On each level in the rear of the lift foyer, there is a rubbish chute and a recycling bin.
