Our home is a comfortable 6-room house on 3 levels 10' walk from the old center of Solothurn. House and garden are suitable also for smaller children. In the garden there is a fireplace with barbecue possibility. The quiet neighbourhood with friendly people and little traffic invite for being outside. By foot or bike you may easily explore the neighborhood and the town.
In the traffic free Old Town you'll discover historical buildings, fascinating fountains, museums, boutiques and lots of small restaurants and bars. In summer time there is also open air cinema . The river Aare as well as the public swiming pool invites for a swim. Also there are various other sport possibilities with 500km of interconnectet cycling routes, hiking trails, tennis ground, golf courses and an adventure park nearby. Unser Haus ist 10 Gehminuten von der Innenstadt von Solothurn entfernt. In der verkehrsfreien Altstadt finden Sie historische Gebäude, faszinierende Brunnen, Museen, Boutiquen und viele kleine Restaurants und Bars. Solothurn ist bekannt dafür, die Schweizer Stadt mit den meisten Restaurants / Einwohner zu sein.
Im Sommer lädt der Fluss Aare sowie die öffentliche Schwimmbecken zum Baden ein.
Der Berg Weissenstein im Jura ist mit dem Auto oder bequemer mit der Gondelbahn erreichbar und Ausgangspunkt für viele Wanderungen im Jura. Ein Seilpark lockt auch die Kinder und Jugendliche auf den Berg!
Auch mit dem Fahrrad kann die Stadt und die Umgebung gut erkundet werden auf über 500km Radwegen.
Auf dem Fluss Aare kann man Kanu und Boot fahren, wir können unser Kanu und das Gummiboot zur Verfügung stell
Der Bahnhof ist nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt und bringt Sie innerhalb von 1 Stunde zu einigen größeren Städten der Schweiz (Bern, Zürich, Luzern) oder in 2 Stunden in die Alpen
