We live in a brand new house in a new car-free, green, trendy district "Groen Kwartier", a former old military hospital. We live very close to the centre of Antwerp, but no noise and lots of green. Antwerp is exciting to visit and perfect to visit Amsterdam, Bruges, Ghent or Brussels for a daytrip by train.

Antwerp is a very nice mediaval town, smaller then Brussels, bigger then Bruges. Antwerp is known for its musea, fashion, architecture, trendy shops, restaurants and bars with lots of beers and chocolate of course! You can visit famous musea like The Rubens house, MAS, Red Star Line about migration, Middelheim museum, DIVA about diamond, fashion museum ... We have 3 bedrooms. 1 room with a double bed and 2 teenagers rooms each with a highsleeper for 2 persons and a sleeping sofa. And in our home office is a sleeping sofa for 1 person. So plenty of room for more then 2 children. We love our vintage living room, our neighbours, garden and the peace in this district.

In this district "Groen Kwartier" there are no cars. So children can play without worries. There's 1 bigger playground and 1 for toddlers. There's a small supermarket, trendy bars and restaurants and a star restaurant the Jane. You can also enjoy the history and architecture of this former old hospital. (www.groenkwartier.be)

To lengten your stay you can also stay in our holiday vintage house in the woods north of Antwerp, very close to a beautiful natural park "Kalmthoutse heide" and close the border with Netherlands. Ideal to walk, cycle and enjoy the peace and green area.
