Only twenty minutes away from the ski slopes and in the heart of a national park, Aulon is a beautiful authentic French village. From the local mohair shop to the bar and restaurant Aulon is a haven of calm and beauty. There are no shops in the village itself but a quick trip down the mountain will find you at an excellent bakery and local supermarket. An hour away from Spain and the amazing canyons of the Guadalajara, you will find plenty to do. Mountain biking, hiking, camping, river rafting and canoeing in the summer and skiing and snowboarding in the winter. The ski slopes are 25 minutes away.
