Our townhouse is situated across the street from Kitsilano Beach, a popular destination in Vancouver with playground, 137m heated outdoor swimming pool, picnic facilities, free tennis courts, buskers, etc. It is an easy 30 minute walk to downtown Vancouver over the Burrard Street Bridge, or to Granville Island via the Seaside walking and bike trail. Public transit (bus) is available across the street from us on Cornwall. Also, 7-minutes walk away on West Fourth are varied shopping (clothes, shoes, etc.), groceries, coffee shops, excellent restaurants, with varied ethnic cuisine such as Italian, Japanese, Mexican, French, Indian, etc. We are also in walking distance to the Maritime Museum (where you can catch a water taxi across to the Sea Wall and access to Stanley Park) and Bard on Beach (Shakespeare theatre festival) in Vanier Park during summer months. It is a 30 minute drive to mountains and wilderness.
