Unique layout oceanfront home with spectacular views. Only a short walk to the sandy beach which is visible from the front deck. Lighthouse just beyond the beach (also visible from the house) with a rugged coastal hiking trail beyond. Historic seaside boardwalk and gazebo just a short walk in the other direction. Half-hour drive to vibrant Halifax.

Terence Bay is a small fishing village on Nova Scotia's South Shore. Our house is not in the main part of the village, but towards the mouth of the bay. Houses sit up from the ocean with a residential road in between. Many have been here for generations, with roots in lobster fishing and bootlegging.

Along the Lighthouse Route it is 25 km south of Halifax and about the same distance the other direction to famous Peggy's Cove. The is an interpretation centre and park a couple blocks from the house dedicated to the SS Atlantic shipwreck. A couple blocks the other direction is Terence Bay's historic lighthouse with a footpath along the shore that takes you to the next village. Within walking distance there is a kayak outfitter where you can rent boats and guides.
