Vi er

Joy and Winston are both retired primary school teachers who are both in their early 70's.

We are fit and active and like the opportunity of using bicycles with our home swaps.

We will look after your home as if it was ours.

Winston plays lawn bowls, tennis, golf and is a keen recreational bike rider.
Joy also plays lawn bowls, is a keen walker and spends lots of time in our large garden.

We could walk to restaurants and just a short drive to galleries wineries and beautiful scenic walks. We could easily have stayed longer with so many places to explore. A memorable stay . Thank you.

We had an enjoyable April visit during the height of this region’s gorgeous autumn colours. Joy and Winston have a comfortable home in a lovely garden. In the evening have a drink on the deck and enjoy the variety of bird life. Plenty of interest locally and Ballarat an hour’s drive away makes for an interesting day visit.

Joy and Winston have a very comfortable home in beautiful natural surrounds with lots trees and wildlife including visiting kangaroos. We had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday including a wood burning fire for the brief cold spell. Our visit had a garden focus and we had plenty of gardens from estates to small gardens to keep us happy. Visiting gardens allowed us to explore lots of towns around the area with plenty of coffee stops and galleries. There are many places to eat from fine dining to pub food. It was such an interesting area and would be great in spring. Walking around the lake was a pleasure and there were many walks nearby. Thank you Joy and Winston

We certainly enjoyed our stay in Hepburn Springs! Joy and Winston's home is very clean, warm and cozy! We also loved the option to have a fire in their wood burning heater most evenings. Their home is well located to enjoy the outdoors (and the nearby modern indoor spa facility ) in this area as well as the attractions of the quaint towns of the area including Dalesford. Plenty of wildlife to see too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Winstone and Joys lovely house in Hepburn Springs. The setting was great among the gum trees and there was plenty to see and do around the area. Although we had a spell of cold weather during our stay we were snug and warm in the house which had great heating. The kangaroos which came visiting often were a highlight and there were plenty of birds coming and going to keep us entertained trying to identify them. All in all a great place to have a break away in quiet peaceful surroundings.

Over the last 7 years we have either been to or had swappers from New Zealand, Amsterdam, Kangaroo Island, Lake Macquarie, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Bendigo, South Africa, Manchester, Vancouver Island, Edinburgh, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Bright, Adelaide, Sydney, Perth, Geelong and Spain.

200 metres walk from the picturesque 18 hole Hepburn Springs Golf Course and within walking distance of restaurants and cafes.
Many bushwalking trails are nearby, as well as the areas famous mineral springs and spa baths.
Our home is only a 75 minute drive to Melbourne, the capital city of Victoria.
A great log fire (all wood supplied) and a natural gas heater will keep you warm and cosy.
