Judy and John felt like friends even before we moved into their gorgeous Blairgowrie home for our two weeks in January 2020, because I had enjoyed corresponding with them to set up all the arrangements. The house was perfect for us with two guest rooms and bathroom separated from the living area by a small antechamber and dividing door. This was great for our son and daughter in law and their young baby to have the privacy and quiet they needed. From the master bedroom ( with its en-suite bathroom) we didn’t hear any baby noises at all. Judy and John also generously made the independent apartment adjoining the house available to us which we used for other family members who found it to be quite luxurious and spacious with its own kitchen and bathroom and outdoor space. The description and pictures on the site are accurate but the house is even nicer and larger than we had expected. We enjoyed being just a pleasant 15 minute walk from the beach- although it did mean crossing the busy Nepean highway just as you arrive at the beach, and the beach is quite narrow at this spot. Still it was lovely to walk down to the beach in the morning and join the locals for an early morning swim. The bay is quite shallow at this spot and we felt very safe swimming there. All in all we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this exchange house.
