We are an empty nest, professional semi-retired couple in our 50's who travel frequently and are looking to spend longer periods abroad to be able to enjoy locales without the pressure of tour schedules and the like. We are reliable, responsible and willing to take care of things (handyman) so happy to leave things as good or better than when we arrived. Generally looking for places that have easy access to local transportation or have a place to park a rental car. We have a great house to share in heart of Silicon Valley, California, 40 minutes from downtown San Francisco, 20 minutes to San Jose and 40 minutes or less to Santa Cruz on the coast (Facebook and Google are neighbors). Plenty to see and do in the area.
