Our home was built in 2012. It overlooks parks and small lakes.It has log burner in lounge, solar water heating and heat pump/airconditioning in dining room.
Paraparaumu has a very good half hour rail commuter train service to Wellington (54 ks) stopping at various stations on the way. Time to Wellington = 1hour. Local airport. Air New Zealand fly direct to Auckland 3 times a day. Smaller airlines fly direct to Blenheim & Nelson in the South Island. Wellington has an international airport, inter island (south island) ferry (passenger and vehicle) service.
Kapiti Coast weather is warmer than Wellington and not as windy... Kapiti Island (bird sanctuary) is a short boat ride from the local beach.
The golf course is world class.
Southward Car Museum is within walking distance on one of our many walking tracks.
