We had a lovely stay in Angus and Juliet's comfortable home. They left clear information about their home and about Edinburgh in general. Their neighbourhood of Morningside is quiet and pleasant, with plenty of ameneties just a short walk away - lots of good coffee shops and a wonderful pub, the Canny Man, which serves up delicious food. Access to the centre of Edinburgh is quick and easy, with several buses to choose from. Altogether a great stay. Thank you very much, Angus and Juliet.

Perfect excange
This is the second time in five years that we have been to the MacKellaig house. We always have a good time in a nice, cosy family environment. The area is well served by buses, pubs, restaurants, markets and nice little shops. Juliet and Angus are always very friendly.
Great location
Juliet and Angus made us very welcome and were easy to communicate with. The location of their house made travel into Edinburgh by foot or bus extremely easy. The garden is a bonus in a city location.

Morningside is delightful with everything one could want on the doorstep, including an excellent and very frequent bus service to the centre of town and beyond. A fantastic journey to Edinburgh
We have enjoyed our stay in this house with modern interior. We could also relax in the beautiful garden with pond. Everything was clean and tidy, both in their house and in ours when we came back. Angus & Juliet took great care of our garden. Our communication was very good. We loved to go downtown and explore the area. Morningside is a very nice part of town. It has very good bakeries and pubs nearby. We would love to swap with them again at another time. Many thanks for the very good house exchange!
A wonderful stay in Scotland
We very much enjoyed your comfortable home with its veranda, near the center of Edinburgh. From there we made a great tour around Scotland, saw some very beautiful landscapes and castles, had nice walks and loved the local cuisine. We thank our hosts for their hospitality and availability. We are very satisfied with this exchange.
Great exchange!
Lovely house and great area to stay in. Lovely walk from Morninside into the centre of Edinburgh. Also really good for buses to get around everywhere and really good shops (and pub) within a couple of minutes walk. The communication with Juliet and Angus was really helpful and straightforward. Perfect place to discover Edinburgh & around!
This is a great place to discover the city and the region! This house is comfortable and perfect for a family of 4 or 6 with 2 bathrooms. It also has a sunny and lovely patio, while being so close from the shops/buses/city center. The people are very kind and helpful. Don't hesitate to arrange a swap with this nice family! Edinburgh is full of nice things to do, especially with all the festivals!

A wonderful experience
This was our first extended home exchange and it could not have been a better experience. Our exchange home was a wonderful base for exploring and enjoying the stunning scenery of the Northern Beaches. The house was very comfortable and had a lovely large verandah for outdoor living, with a leafy and attractive garden. The location was perfect, a lovely neighbourhood and only a 10 minute walk to the coastal path with beautiful views of Sydney Harbour. It was a very scenic and delightful 40 minute stroll into Manly. Public transport was excellent. The bus network was very good with frequent buses into central Sydney and elsewhere. Ferries from Manly to Circular Quay (for the Opera House and central Sydney sights) and other harbour destinations were frequent and very enjoyable. We spent three extremely happy months here.
Soggiorno piacevole e ricco di storia
Da Juliet e Angus una bella vacanza per scoprire le meraviglie della Scozia. La loro casa è accogliente, soleggiata, completamente arredata. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra. Il centro città è raggiungibile facilmente con la rete dei bus. Abbiamo visitato diverse località della Scozia, graziose, ordinate e ricche di storia. Sicuramente vorremmo ritornare per completare il giro nel nord e nelle isole.
