  • Skørping - the place to be!

This was our third exchange with Hanne. On one hand it is very comfortable because we know her house (which we love very much), on the other hand it remains exciting because we keep seeing new things in the town and also in the region. The house is easy to maintain, the bakery and supermarket are in walking distance and restaurants in cycling distance, so very convenient. There are many options for walking or cycling trips from Hanne's house, as the landscape is very varied. In addition, Skørping is very centrally located, so day trips to both coasts or islands and cities such as Aalborg and Aarhus are also possible. We thank Hanne very much for her hospitality and we wouldn't mind exchanging a fourth time.

  • Great home exchange at Hanne's

Hanne's wooden house is very beautiful, with a big garden and some fruits to grab from. The house is located in a very wide natural area full of woods, lakes, rivers, heathery hills... and lots of routes to walk around. Hanne also gave us a warm welcome and left us many tips, maps, and food on the table and in the fridge. We had a fluent contact while we were doing the swap. She is a brave and determined woman. We would definitely recommend her to exchange and would come back to Skørping with no doubt! Mange tak, Hanne!

  • Very cosy, big and beautiful house :)

We met Hanne in person and had a very nice breakfast together after she showed us her whole house. We felt very comfortable at Hanne's home. There is a lot of space in- and outside. The red grapes in the patio were very fascinating and there were tomatoes and apples growing in the garden. Skorping has a very beautiful nature - like big woods and small seas everywhere. We felt like we walked through a fairytale. You can reach the beach / Baltic Sea in 30 Minutes by car, We had a nice café, the supermarket and the gas station just around the corner. We recommend Skorping and of course Hanne's home very much and thank her for a wonderful stay :)

  • Lucky swap!

We had a very good time in Hanne's bright and cosy home. We enjoyed the large garden with it's flowers, the scent of the grapevine in the conservatory (last time before we saw such a wine pergola was in Italy!). Apart from the pleasure to be there, Hanne's home is a good starting point for all touristic sightseeing features in Danmark's north. We went to Skagen and Grenen, to Aalborg (a very beautiful and lively town at the Limfjord) and to the beautiful beaches on the Kategat and the Skagerak. It is very recommendable to go there on the small and idyllic roads which showed us Danmark from a side, we had never seen before. Dear Hanne, many thanks for this joyful swap.

  • Garden of Eden

Hanne has grapes in her greenhouse, you only had to stretch your arm en reach out for the grapes, that was like in old Rome. This was our second exchange and we are still very enthusiastic; the house is spacious, warm surrounded by a beautiful garden. The region is very good for cycling, bathing and making long walks. Rebild Bakker and the Mariager Fjord e.g. We love the coasts on either side of Jutland; we visited Saeby, a small, picturesque fishing village. Because of the extreme good weather we have to visit cities like Aalborg, Aarhus and Copenhagen with their museums a next time.

  • House exchange in Danmark.

We had a great time at the house of Hanne. The house is perfect for a family with childeren. There are So many things to do in the area of Hanne her house. We loved the country. Very kind and friendly people - great nature and so many walking areas that are very clearly marked. the walking areas are so varied that it is ideal for children to enjoy the walk until the end. Also a very beautiful capital city. Hanne her home has everything that a family with children need ( large garden, gave the boys the chance to play soccer) . On a rainy day we stayed at home and played some amusements games. We can not say what was the most beautiful. It was al beautiful and nice. We need to come back, perhaps in a few years, to discover another part of Denmark. Our rain jackets were useful know and then, but we didn’t mind. It was an active holiday. We hope we can discover more scandinavian countries.

  • Thank you

It was a very nice experience to live in your home, the train and bus stations are very near and convenient to go to many places, We went to Aalborg or Hobro and Stövring, and we could enjoy your car to take a two days trip to Skagen, Hirtshals, Lokken and Løgstør. Everything wordes properly and with no problems.

  • Wonderful exchange in great surroundings

We had a wonderful exchange in Hannes House. Her house is cozy, clean and very comfortable. She has a wonderful garden. Everything was well prepared and we found a lot of information material to explore the environment. Nearby there are wonderful lakes and forests. We explored everything by bike. We visited the cities Frederikshavn, Loenstrup, Aalborg, Osterhurup, Skagen (the northernmost point of Denmark), in Hirtshals a wonderful Aquarium and in Hobro the Viking village. Very often we were on the beach in Osterhurup, very suitable for small children. Everything is easy to reach. We had two weeks of wonderful weather. Once we needed a doctor for our son, the neighbors were a great help to us. Thanks again to Jytte and Thyge. We felt very well in Hannes house and in the beautiful surroundings. Many thanks to you, dear Hanne for your hospitalityj in your wonderful country. We would love to come back sometime!

  • A very comfortable house with a sunny garden.

Skørping is a very good starting point for exploring the north of Jylland with its beautiful nature, on foot, by bicycle and by train (Skørping has a train station.) We had shorter and longer walks in the national park; Rebild Bakker but also in the wood around Skørping. We went to both the east and west coast by bicycle. That was very relaxing as the hills are not too steep and there are cycling routes and cycling roads. We visited Aalborg, the Utzon centre and the old parts of Aalborg and went to Skagen by train, also a nice place. We love this part of Denmark and the Danish people, who where very helpfull and willing to talk to us. We have not seen everything and want to come back, another time.

  • Pleasant exchange where we were able to visit the forest doing several walks, swim in different local pools, visit Aalborg and Skagen and go to a delightful small island called Livo for the day. We flew to the small Aarhus airport, which is some way from Aarhus, but very easy driving to the house by car. There were two supermarkets in the village. The house is well equipped. There are coffee shops in Aalborg and a few on the coast. There is a lovely bakery in the village. Gareth also visited Aarhus old town with a large open air museum which he enjoyed.
