• A stunning apartment in an amazing location

  I can't thank John and Margaret enough for allowing me to stay in their stunning apartment. I would never have believed anywhere could be so relaxing yet so close to the hubbub and buzz of the city. Their wonderful apartment is in such an amazing location and has everything you could wish for in order to enjoy your stay. Everything is within a very short walk and all the transport links to get around London are very close indeed. Why not take in a different view of the city via an Uberboat trip or take a trip on the cable car over the Thames both just minutes away! Communication with John and Margaret was very easy, informative and helpful as was the comprehensive Home book and welcome letter waiting for me on my arrival. The secure Parking was very easy thanks to John's instructions and I would highly recommend an exchange with this delightful couple if you wish to visit London or just want a relaxing break. Thank you!

• Relaxing city living up in the sky!

  Staying in Margaret and John’s stylish waterfront apartment has been a pure delight - the efficient concierge team gave practical advice as well as a warm welcome. With magnificent views, the flat is well appointed and secure. Beyond the riverside walkways of the Peninsular, we were easily able to explore maritime history amidst the wide open spaces of Greenwich. All this as well as other local attractions such as Blackheath, the remarkable Eltham Palace, remodelled in Art Deco style, and the serendipitous proximity of the Olympic park with 50 m pool - only 20 minutes drive. Limitless cultural delights in town were made safely accessible by the fast Thames Clipper boat service, a few minutes walk away. The setting and amenities have made this a memorable exchange for which we are truly grateful. Marcus and Deb

  Lovely apartment with a very nice view to the cable car. Also many books about London were available which we often used . A food shop next to the apartment was very easy. Also the underground was near. We had a very nice holiday .London is amazing. Many thanks for the nice exchange.

• Great view - best impressions

  The apartment was ideally located very near to a DLR train station at the waterfront of former Royal Docks with a supermarket in the basement. The great view from the living / dining room was magnetizing. We felt very well in this spacious apartment as Margaret & John prepared it so well for their visitors. A big thank you to you both for giving us the chance for a wonderful week in London and surrounding and that you left our own house in perfect condition. Dieter & Elisabeth

• Modern and practical in Doclands of London.

  We had a very good stay in Margaret and Johns corner-apartment with nice views overlooking the modern Victoria Docks, close to the O2 dome and Emirates gondola and in the near vicinity to Canary Wharf and Greenwich and Londo City Airport. The DLR metro took us swiftly to the Tower of London or City of London and connected very well to the tubes. We also enjoyed taking the river ferries on the Thames. There are a number of eateries close by, as well as a grocery in the same building. Margaret and John left our apartment on Oslo as if no one had been there! We certainly can recommend the exchange!

  We enjoyed our stay in this luminous, modern, and confortable appartement. Very convenient and within reasonnable distance to central London, John and Margaret are friendly and helpfull homelink members, doing their best for their hosts.
