  • Lovely holiday in London!

We had a lovely holiday in London. The house was beautiful, welcoming and located in a quiet neighborhood, well connected to central London. It was a great opportunity to see London again.

  • What a wonderful exchange

we had a wonderful stay with a warmly welcome in London. The flat was very nice and nice located too. Best of all the beloved cat Brambel who treated us like a family member. Thanks for all the great hints for exploring places aside from the beaten tracks!

  • Ideal Base for a London Visit

The apartment is located on a pleasant quiet street with public transport at the end of the street. Lots of multi-ethnic restaurants and shops in the locality. The apartment is very comfortable with everything you'll need for your visit. Bramble the cat is friendly and playful. Recommendations for sightseeing, transport and places to eat and drink were spot-on. This was a very easy exchange and communication with the hosts was quick and efficient.

  • Many happy reasons to return!

David and Catherine's house exchange in Truro, was a delightful experience. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We were treated to a delicious cream tea, which was a lovely touch. The house itself was very comfortable and inviting, ensuring a relaxing stay. They provided us with a comprehensive house information book that made settling in a breeze. Additionally, their collection of walking guides and local information proved invaluable in exploring the stunning surroundings. The cats Mowgli and Bella added so much joy and companionship. We really enjoyed the wonderful garden too. We’d recommend the museum in Truro - and its café is good for lunch. St Ives is lovely, but heed the advice about driving/parking and consider the train or bus instead. The Eden Project is fab and well worth a visit. We really liked Mousehole too. We walked there from Penzance along the coast, then back inland via Paul. There are tons more things to do in Cornwall. You could easily spend a couple of years exploring. Thanks to David and Catherine for the opportunity to sample just some of Cornwall’s delights.

  • I did enjoy a wonderful time at the appartement. Everything was perfect organized and I did enjoy cycling at the nice area. Thank you very much.

  • We felt like in our home

We will repeat if possible, no doubt!

  • We have recently returned from a fabulous ten days at Catherine and David's farmhouse. It is light, extremely spacious, well equipped, very comfortable, and even better than the photos! It is set in a lovely garden with several spots for sitting and enjoying countryside views. We found it ideally located for visits to both the North and South coasts and it is an easy to walk into Truro. Catherine and David were very helpful and lines of communication were excellent. They were also the perfect house guests, leaving our home immaculate. Highly recommended!

  • Our first home exchange!

Lovely home, lovely welcome, lovely holiday! Thank you

  • This beautiful farmhouse was a fantastic spot to visit Cornwall and we made the most of the easy transport and great tourist attractions close by. There is too much to see and do in the short time we were there, and Catherine was most helpful with any queries we had. Thoroughly recommend it.

  • We very much enjoyed our stay in Cornwall.

Catherine and David have a wonderful roomy home just on the outskirts of Truro that is welcoming and a marvellous base for the area.

  • The cherry on the Cornish pasty

Catherine & David's historic home is even nicer in reality than it appears in the photos. My heart sank when I saw the Aga as I have never used one before, but I coped! The cats were adorable, the garden a delight and the peace and quiet of the location was very welcome after the hustle and bustle of London. We should have taken their advice and timed our stay to coincide with the end of the school holidays. The Cornish roads were very congested. We met more than one man going to St Ives! Every man and his dog were going to St Ives! We never did get there but we did see parts of Cornwall that we hadn't seen before. Having Waitrose and a car boot sale within walking distance was the cherry on the Cornish pasty! All-in-all we can declare this a very enjoyable exchange and recommend it to others who want an exchange in Cornwall.

  • Wonderful base from which to explore Cornwall

We traveled with my mum to this lovely place to celebrate mum's 82nd birthday. Catherine and David have a beautiful home and it was a privilege to stay there. The house was incredible; it had every amenity we could possible wish for and more. The description of the property was 100% accurate - classic "Escape to the Country". It was a fabulous base from which to explore the gorgeousness of Cornwall. Great hosts + great accommodation = brilliant holiday!

  • David and Catherine's house just outside Truro is lovely. It has the benefit of being close enough to Truro to walk into town and yet it was set amongst fields so that you felt you were also in the countryside. The home itself was warm and comfortable and we were grateful for access to their coats and wellies when the snow arrived! Fantastic Aga to experiment on and the DVD's and pool table kept us entertained during the bouts of cold weather. ! With the use of their car we were able to explore all Cornwall had to offer and 5 weeks passed far too quickly. In the meantime we enjoyed being able to communicate with them regarding our individual experiences. Enjoyed our encounters with early morning deers and late night badgers!

  • Catherine and David were warm and welcoming and our swap was a wonderful experience. It was a great base for exploring Cornwall and a beautiful home to return to each day.

  • Fantastic house for our lovely family meeting

We spend a splendid week in Cathrine's and David's fantastic house in Truro. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us and we felt extremely comfortable in this huge house with game room, 4 bathrooms and plenty of bedrooms. It was very cosy allover (specially when it was pooring rain) and our preferred meeting place was the very bright kitchen with dining and living space! We had fun playing in the beautiful garden, go for morning runs, walk to Pubs in town and go surfing. We loved the cats and the week went by much too fast! Thank you so much for your warm welcome and help, Cathrine and David!
