Such a beautiful home and lovely garden and surroundings. We were very comfortable and had an enjoyable stay exploring the area, the woodland walks to the Abbey and Palace.

We had an amazing week staying in David and Sandra's beautiful home. The location was ideal, with everything you could possibly need within a couple of minutes walk. Dalkeith Country Park is just 5 minutes walk with miles of stunning woodland and country walks/rides, with a grand stately home, shops, cafe, GoApe and more. Central Edinburgh is a short 15-20 min drive, and the stunning beaches of East Lothian just 30 mins away. David and Sandra's house is very impressive. Large tastefully decorated spacious rooms, an excellent family kitchen and two conservatories, one of which looked brand new.. Last but not least.. the gardens. Just wow. Clearly a labour of love and expertly maintained. We could have easily stayed another week and still not have run out of things to do.
