Comfortable home in a great location!
My friends and I enjoyed our stay in the Mathie’s lovely home, it was very comfortable and well located in Glasgow. Cindy and I exchanged numerous messages on what’s app before and during our exchange, and I looked forward to seeing photos of all their adventures on Facebook. They are a lovely family that I would invite back again!

The 'Rough Guide' has placed Scotland as number 2 in the world for top countries to visit in 2017 (but it's normally in the top 10 most years).
Traditional 1920s terraced house in a leafy suburb of Glasgow's vibrant West End.
3 Bedrooms; 2 Bathrooms; a Lounge and a Dining Kitchen.
There is a small secluded garden with an outdoor eating area at the back (we use this when we barbeque).
We are opposite one of the city's best parks (including the Fossil Grove), and 5 minutes walk to a leisure centre with a pool (and kids' pool). There are also some good, eating places within walking distance.
Slightly further afield its 10 minutes by bus (or about 20 on foot) to the West End museums (Kelvingrove Museum, Museum of Transport, Science Museum). Only 20 mins by bus to the City Centre with all the shopping, theatres etc.

I nostri consigli su cosa non perdere in questa zona
In the opposite direction its 45 mins to Loch Lomond and the start of the beautiful and historic road up the West Coast of Scotland to the Highlands. So if hill climbing is your thing then you are sorted (Douglas quite often nips up to Glencoe for a days' skiing).
We are not golfers, but you are just over an hour's drive to Troon, Turnberry, Gleneagles, Loch Lomond and no doubt lots of other top golf courses that we haven't heard of.
