Thanks to Carole and Stan. We felt very comfortable with the house and had a great time in Scotland. Thanks also for all the information about the country and activities. All in all one of our homelink highlights.

Our exchange was wonderful! We met at Paris airport and it was nice to get to know each other. We were met at Edinburgh airport by Stan's son and it was really appreciated to be driven to the house and to be explained a bit about it. Our first meal was typically Scottish with a tasty chicken Balmoral Carole had prepared. The house was very comfortable and nicely prepared to welcome us. We had great communication with Carole regarding our and their house and were able to solve any issues or questions from both sides. Located in the countryside, it was however not far from conveniences and places to visit. Edinburgh is of course worth several trips, but there is also a lot to visit on both sides of the Forth. Scottish castles are plentiful and we were happy to attend some Highland Games. We really had a great time and the relations with our so welcoming guests was a nice addition to it. This is an exchnage that will stay in our memories!

We had a great time in Carole and Stan’s lovely house and amazing garden. Everything was perfect. Their house is in a great location for visiting Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, St Andrews and the East Neuk. Highly recommended.

Carole and Stan's home was in a beautiful rural setting. The garden a delight and the house comfy with great views overlooking the countryside. The house is situated in a wonderful place to explore the coast of Fife and Edinburgh. The highlights of our trip being a visit to the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel. Fresh lobster at the The Lobster Pot, 18 The Square, Blackness, Linlithgow and Leith, Portobello beaches and Edinburgh. An amazing week in an amazing place. Highly recommended.

Thank you Carole and Stan for sharing your home and area with us - not to mention your beautiful garden! We really enjoyed exploring the varied parts of Scotland, beaches, lochs, mountains ..... it’s got it all! Communication was easy and excellent throughout, enabling our exchange to run so smoothly. We loved our stay in Carole and Stan's beautiful home in the peaceful Scottish countryside, especially unwinding in the large house and garden. Carole and Stan made sure we have had everything we needed and left us lots of great suggestions for places to go nearby. We'd love to exchange here again in future!

Carole's and Stan's house was a good starting point for our trips to Edinburgh, Stirling, Glasgow and the Highlands. The kitchen was very well equipped and the house was lovely. Dunfermline (the city close by) is ideal for eating out and has a charming center.

Carole and Stan are very lovely people. We loved to communicate with them... The house is ideally located close to Edinburgh, and is very beautiful. Everything was absolutely clean...
