We are an international family of 4. Our boys are born 2009 and 2011 and experienced travelers. We like to stay in Europe during the entire summer or in Canada. We speak 3 languages at home and are interested in new cultures and lifestyles. Our houses in Florida are close to the beach (Artsy Beach Cottage- sleeps 5, about 65m2) and the river (1,5acre on the river with pool and permaculture - sleeps 7, about 220 m2). We enjoy the outdoors, swimming, kayaking, SUP and biking in particular. We travel about 3 - 4 months a year and like to stay in places for several weeks to really indulge in the culture, food, language. We are Foodies ( even though I can not cook... or maybe I don't want to ;-) ! Two of us eat everything and the other two are gluten free vegans (?!). During winter and spring we look for destinations within North America for quick escapes (1 - 2 weeks) and during the summer we like to stay for longer periods. Open to suggestions :-)

This sunny house is just 1/2 block away from the beach and offers an open floor plan for the kitchen and living room. We normally rent it out on AirBnB or use it as a guest house for family and friends. Most of the furniture has been designed by Sandra. The master has a queen bed and the second bedroom has XL-Twin bunkbeds, ideal for children and adults. The house is big enough for 5 guests (daybed in living room). There is a small renovated bathroom with sink, shower/bathtub, toilet. There is plenty of outdoor space to sit and relax. The house was renovated in 2016 and is a historic home as it was one of the first houses build for the engineers for the NASA-program in the 50'ies. The backyard features lagoon friendly, florida native and drought tolerant plants. The beach is steps away and there are plenty of beach toys, beach towels, beach equipment etc. for you to use. The house is in a quite neighborhood. The bike path brings you to the port with waterfront restaurants as well as to the Cocoa Beach Pier (10 min. walk) with its entertainment, shops and restaurants. There are several grocery stores, restaurants, mini golf, biplane, racetrack- entertainment option within 5-10 min. walk. The main route 528 brings you straight to Orlando airport, KSC, theme parks etc.

Quiet, beachy and relaxed neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants and grocery store (Publix). Neighbors keep to themselves but are friendly. Very little traffic on the street. House is on a cul de sac and you can walk to the beach without crossing any street. The beach access is literally a 3min. walk, you can use the beach wagon to bring your equipment - provided by us.

Other locations: All major Disney theme parks are about 50 min. - Kennedy Space Centre and Jungle gator Village about 25 min. - international airport 40 min. - Port Canaveral and cruise departures 5 min. - Cocoa Beach Pier 2 min.- Brevard Zoo (the best kid friendly Zoo by far!!) and Viera Shopping Avenues 30 min.- Historic Cocoa Village with great Theater! and unique shopping possibilities as well as nice restaurants and Cafes (Ossorio)15 min.- Bacchae Wine Bar (top international wine selection and artisanal beers) walking distance - brewery and micro distillery (coming soon) 5 min. - Beach is in walking distance and Banana River access is 2 min. - Winter Park for great shopping and fine dining, museums, train station, boat tours ... simply beautiful 50 min.

The house is newly renovated, freshly painted in and outside with custom made furniture. Please use and treat everything in and around the house with respect. This is a family friendly, baby friendly environment and smoking is not allowed. The house needs to be left as clean as possible (clean your dishes and put them away, wipe down counters in bathroom, put furniture back as you found them when moving in)
