Just about everything you could need is in walking distance from our home - shops, bars, restaurants, theatre, cinema, sports centre, museums, riverside walks, scenic cycle routes. The train station is only a few streets away with regular trains into central London (Waterloo, 1 hour). In the summer time it's also quite nice to take a 45 minute train journey to Bournemouth, a lovely traditionally British seaside resort.

Of course if you have a car there are lots more places to explore, most notably the New Forest National Park (20 mins), historic Portsmouth (30 mins), the World Heritage Jurassic coastl

We have a small annexe, separate to our house, and so are also able to offer non-simultaneous exchanges for couples, or young family with a small child.
