The house is in West Green, a peaceful, respectable multi-cultural area. There is a good corner shop only 2 minutes away.
Throughout residential areas of West Green, car parking is restricted to residents and their guests. For this reason there is always space and I can supply weekly parking permits.
A stroll away up St Ann's Rd is busy Green Lanes where I buy all my fresh fruit and vegetables- it's known across north London for its multitude of small ethnic food shops and small restaurants, including Greek, Turkish, Kurdish and many other.
A stroll in the other direction you can find an intriguing cluster of African shops & restaurants on West Green Rd at the bustling High Rd end.
There are two small parks very nearby. Walk a little further to a large Tesco, a large Sainsbury's, the Shopping Mall at Wood Green, a large park and an indoor swimming pool.
Not far away, try the extensive canalside walks along the leafy flatlands of the River Lea, young lively Stroud Green Road, fashionable Stoke Newington Church Street, gloriously overgrown Victorian cemetery Abney Park, and only a 15 minute tube ride away, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Oxford Circus and the centre of London.
