The neighbours are friendly, the neighbourhood has all you could ask for. The surroundings offer nice restaurants and cafes a few minutes by foot.
For kids there is also plenty to do, with a private playground with other kids, and many nice playgrounds in walking distance. Close by you have a outdoor pool for children (5 minutes by foot). There is also an international library for kids in walking distance.

Public transport is excellent and modern just a few minutes walking distance: Underground, tram (180m), train (350m). They take you to e.g. Schönbrunn Palace in 12 minutes, or the inner city in 12 minutes for little money (e.g. 7 days for 17€ flat)! We can also arrange for a car (we don't own one anymore as there was no need really) if you wish. Also we have bicicles (also for the kids) and an electric cargo bike with two child seats that is really convenient and easy to ride.

The airport is close (30 minutes by car or 45 minutes by train for 4,40€) and also other cities for day trips.

The metro U3 is very close by, (3 minutes walking distance) which crosses Vienna and brings you in 12 minutes to the city center. Schönbrunn Palace and the pedestrian zone Mariahilferstraße are only 10 minutes away.

Outside of vienna you have mountains and lakes are reachable within 1 hour by train. Taking the modern trains you are at the foothills of the Alps in 1:30 hour or 1 hour by car. Bratislava is 1 hour by train, Linz 1:14 hours, Salzburg 2:22 hours, Graz 2:35 hours, Budapest 2:37 hours, Munich 4:01 hours, Maribor and Prag 4:03 hours.
