The cozy house of Evert and Wilmieke has a beautiful garden and is ideally situated for a great holiday! The house is within cycling distance of the beautiful national park Hoge Veluwe, the Kröller-Mollermuseum with paintings by Van Gogh and the beautiful inland dune of Kootwijkerzand. During the heatwave in Europe, the swimming pool came in handy, as well as the ping pong table in the basement. We enjoyed picking blueberries, a canoe trip on the canals in Utrecht, the open air museum and the biscuit museum of the Zaanse Schans. The contacts with the family were very pleasant. To be repeated!

Dear Family Top, we really enjoyed staying at your house. It was clean upon our arrival and we also found our house clean and tidy when we got home. We enjoyed the trampolin in the garden, the ping pong table in the basement and the pool. Thank you for having let us use your bikes: they were very usefuly to circle arount Kootwijkerzand and to go the the Kröller-Müller museum about 30 minutes away. The cycling possibilities are "infinite" and with such nice bikes it makes it a great experience. We also travelled to the see in Katwijk about 75 minutes away by car. We had a great holiday in the house of family Top and truly felt welcome in their home. Their spacious house is very comfortable, well equipped, with a big and pretty garden with toys for the kids. We really enjoyed taking care of the plants and vegetables, and the kids had a great time with all the toys in the playroom. Several cities are located nearby (Amsterdam, Utrecht, Arnhem, Apeldoorn, Amersfoort,...). We visited the open air museum (Arnhem), the passiflora farm with butterfly gardens (Harskamp), the railway museum (Utrecht), Amsterdam, and did some bike trips in the area. The region is really nice for biking, so we surely intend to visit the Veluwe again within a couple of years. We can genuinely recommend this home for a nice home exchange!
