Eine ruhige Oase mit Terrasse und Blick auf den Garten. Es ist gut möglich die Stadt zu Fuss zu erkunden, quer durch den Vondelpark zu... Grachten, Museen, Botanischer Garten, Hauptbahnhof und Hafenviertel. Gleich um die Ecke, Café WG und de Toog, um einen erlebnisreichen Tag gemütlich zu beenden. Danke für deine Tipps, Mariken!

We had a wonderful week staying in Mariken’s apartment. It was very comfortable and we felt very at home and enjoyed the garden too. It was so easy to walk everywhere we wanted to visit in Amsterdam and having the park on the doorstep was amazing, such a wonderful place to walk and relax. Mariken was very welcoming and helpful.

We had a very nice exchange in Amsterdam. My husband and I went to run the Amsterdam Marathon. Mariken's house is in a very nice location near the center and the Vondelpark. Just in front of the house you can get on the tram. The Marathon was amazing. We can walk from the house to the start at the Olympic stadium on the day of the match. Everything was clean. We felt really home. A nice exchange!

We had an excellent time in Amsterdam. Mariken and Geer’s apartment is in an excellent location, only about 15 minutes walk from Museumplein (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum etc) and it was great to be able to walk to many tourist places. The tram line also ran past the building for when we needed to travel further away, really convenient (and quiet). Transport to and from the airport was very easy too. Keukenhof was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. The flowers and creative displays were just amazing. Mariken was very helpful, always responding quickly to emails with useful information. We also enjoyed communicating throughout the holiday, sharing what we were doing with one another. We really enjoyed the exchange and our time in Amsterdam. Thank you Mariken and Geer.

Although not in the heart of Amsterdam we found this a very convenient location for seeing the city. There is a tram stop right in front of the house and it was very easy to get everywhere. (I worried that this might be noisy but it was not. The windows are very good.) Sometimes we walked through the beautiful park to get to museums. Mari was very helpful and was available online as needed. A grocery was nearby. It was nice to be on the ground floor on not have to climb stairs with groceries and luggage.
