We are a family of four person, my husband Cristiano, me and our kids Elisa and Jacopo. We have a dog Tarah who can travel with us or stay by some friends when we travel, and a cat and a turtle. We live in Prato, a town just few km from Florence. We also have a small cottage in the mountain just 1 hour from here, available also for non simultaneous exchange. My husband is a lawyer while I work as a medical lead in pharma industry. Our oldest daughter attends high school while our youngest son attends primary school. We like travelling and know other cultures. We love nature and art.

La nostra casa
Descrizione della casa che offriamo
Prato is a town very close to Florence, with a tiny and beautiful medieval center and an important contemporary art museum. It is a very good place to stay if you want to visit Florence and Tuscany, because is near to main highways and Pisa or Florence airport, is not very expensive, with less traffic and noise than Florence. The house has 3 bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with a 1,5 size bed, the last with a single bed) and in the studio we have a sofà bed too. We have two wonderful kids, a dog, a cat and a turtle. We live in a small cottage with a tiny garden at the border of the medieval center of Prato so you can easily reach it and every service you need (shops, train station, restaurants, bars, etc) is few minutes of walk.

We live in a little town just 15 km from Florence and in a strategic position to visit all Tuscany. Our house is at the boundary of historical center and near to many facilities (shops, supermarket, theatre and cinema, train station, museums). We have a little garden where you can rest and have pleasant breakfast and dinner.

A few meters from our house is the Luca Mannori pastry bar, which boasts the title of world champion for the creation of the setteveli cake.
A few dozen meters away is one of the gates of the ancient medieval walls from which you can access the historic centre, full of lively bars and ancient churches, an interesting museum of fabrics, home to numerous exhibitions and a theatre. In the historic center there is also the famous Cicognini college (where D'Annunzio also studied at the time).
In less than a quarter of an hour you can walk to the railway station, a useful means of adding Florence (in 20 minutes) but also Lucca (in 40 minutes) and Versilia (in less than an hour), with its famous and elegant seaside resorts,
A few minutes by car from the house there is an important contemporary art museum (Pecci museum), one of the largest day SPA in Italy (Asmana) and access to the motorway, from which you can easily reach the most famous destinations Tuscan tourist.
