We enjoyed the house's location on the river, with a beautiful view of the ship SS Rotterdam, with its lights at night. The house is in an attractive neighborhood with cafes, cinemas, and shops within walking distance. It was fun using the water taxi to get around and visit other parts of the city. In short, it was a great home exchange and we would do it again!

La maison de Marieke et Patrick est grande et agréable, très bien située, au bord de l'eau, ayant une vue superbe et reposante. Le quartier est calme et proche du centre ville de Rotterdam, facilement joignable à pied ou à vélo. Nous avons passé une semaine superbe, tout a été parfait, un grand merci encore!

Wonderul location overlooking the busy river, peaceful, but easy access to all public transport,. comfortable attractive home , Delightful friendly hosts .( Explanations as to where buses went would be helpful in future, also location of shops for food.)

We had a really great time in Rotterdam (despite the terrible weather :). Marieke has been very helpful identifying possible activities, both outdoors and indoors, including child-friendly theater and boat toors. The neighbourhood is amazing, overlooking the typical waters surrounding the more recently developed part of time. The house was very cozy and comfortable, and perfectly adapted for a family with kids.
