Our neighborhood is called Prenzlauerberg, and our Kiez (subdivision within the neighborhood) is the Winskiez. It is one of the most beautiful and beloved areas of Berlin!
With a little luck you will see the great artists, musicians and movie stars sitting on the benches, in the restaurants, or walking around at the same time as you. It's a great place to spend some time and experience the atmosphere of Berlin.
Prenzlauerberg is the most child-populated district in Europe :-) Nice parks, nice and very good restaurants - all culinary directions are represented, nice dance centers, small music centers and small cinemas - with or without children, you feel good and safe here.
Located very centrally and close to Alexanderplatz and the "Museumsinsel", it's ideal for touring Berlin and visiting the different "Kiez" of the city.
