Beautiful Scandinvian loghouse that we renovated in 2020. It is built on 2 floors, sleeps 6 and offers all amenities.

We have 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom on the first floor. Our master bedroom has a large double bed in 200x200cm, our guest room has 2 beds in 100x100 than can be pulled together or detached, and the children’s room has 2 beds in 90x100, a walk-in closet and opens onto a large balcony.
Living room, dining area, and kitchen are on the ground floor, as well as a second bathroom with a washing machine and a small office / pantry room where we also keep beach and pool stuff. The kitchen is fully-equipped with fridge, freezer, oven and induction stove, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, water boiler and espresso machine. All appliances are pretty new.
We have a big pullout couch in the living room, a Swedish fireplace and internet TV /netflix/prime etc...

Our Infrared sauna is on the ground floor in a room opening to the living room as well as out to the deck. It heats up within 10 minutes up to 60C+ and can be used without any health restrictions by anyone. It is wonderful.

We have a large garden with lounge and deck chairs and a pool above ground which is quite enjoyable on windy days at the beach. We also have 4 adult bicycles in very good condition, and a standup paddle board which can also be used as a kayak.

We are in second row or 400m from the beautiful white sandy beach of Kalifornien in Holstein, which is no more than a 4 min walk (2 blocks). The Baltic sea is very clear and shallow, hence warmer than one would expect, and safe. The coast is protected by a lawn dike offering kilometers of great walking and cycling along the coast. Kalifornien is the ideal place to relax, enjoy nature and the infinity of the Baltic sea. Although it does get busier in the summer, it is nothing like other locations. There is plenty of space, no loud music or stinky barbecues :-) There is little infrastructure and therefore not the right place if you are looking for nightlife. Take a drink to the beach and enjoy the sunset!
