Marion and Craig's apartment had everything we needed for a week in Berlin. It is in a quiet pretty neighbourhood, a little way from the centre of the city, but easy to reach with Berlin's excellent public transit system or an enjoyable walk, or bike ride, along the bank of the Spree. Even though Marion was out of town, she left a selection of easy to prepare food for our first meal, and had thought of every question we might need answered. Thank you, Marion and Craig, we had a wonderful time.

Marion und Craig haben uns ihre schöne, ruhig und dennoch zentral gelegene Wohnung für eine Woche überlassen, obwohl es noch unsicher ist, ob und wann sie einmal in unser Haus kommen werden. Alles, inkl. der Schlüsselübergabe, war hervorragend organsiert. Wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn wir uns einmal für diese herzliche Gastfreundschaft in Mindelheim revanchieren könnten.

My wife and I had a marvelous time at Marion and Craig’s apartment in Berlin. The location in Charlottenburg is ideal: a nice, quiet neighborhood and easy access to multiple lines of public transportation. There are also good, friendly restaurants nearby and a large grocery store around the corner. It’s also easy to walk to many major sites, e.g. the Berggruen Museum which we really enjoyed. The apartment is very cute and well-equipped. We especially enjoyed the balcony where we would have a glass of wine or just read a book. And the same espresso machine as we have in our home was a terrific surprise! Ample space was left for us to spread out our clothes and the bed is very comfortable. Marion and Craig are wonderful hosts. Communication was terrific as they kept us closely apprised of their plans. They left a helpful binder in the apartment. As guests in our condo in San Francisco, they left our place spotless and 100% intact. Just what a homeowner wants! We would have no hesitation in hosting Marion and Craig in our place again and would also return (if possible) to their apartment in Berlin whenever we might return. AAA+++++.

Marion und Craig haben wir als interessante und sehr angenehme Gäste im Wallis kennen gelernt. Wir haben eine kurze, aber unterhaltsame Zeit mit Ihnen im Wallis verbracht. Nach ihrer Abreise haben wir alles aufgeräumt und gepflegt in bester Ordnung vorgefunden, vielen Dank. Unser Aufenthalt in ihrer Wohnung in Berlin war sehr angenehm. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen Nebenstrasse und man blickt in den Hintergarten mit schönem Baumbestand. Die Ruhe am Abend und in der Nacht hat uns nach einem anstrengenden Tag in der City gut getan.Wir sind oft zu Fuss ins Zentrum von Charlottenburg und Wilmersdorf und zum Ku-Damm gegangen. Es gibt in diesen Stadtteilen unzählige schöne Restaurants, es lohnt sich nicht selbst zu kochen! Mit Bus, U-Bahn und S-Bahn kommt man schnell in ganz Berlin herum.Nach der Rückkehr am Abend konnten wir noch bis um 21h um die Ecke bei EDEKA einkaufen. Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt in Berlin. Danke Marion und Craig, dass ihr mit uns die Wohnung getauscht habt.

Sehr angenehmer Kontakt im Vorfeld. Wohlfühl-Wohnung als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ins Grüne z.B. mit Lidl-Bikes, die leicht auszuleihen sind oder auch für Erkundungen in Berlin Zentrum. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswerte Tauschpartner und Tauschwohnung ! Vielen Dank!
