Our little town of Saanichton has all the basic amenities (hospital, post office, grocery store, farmer's market, pub, restaurants, pharmacy, gas station, park, tennis courts, hiking trails). There is a cidery (Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse) at the end of our road. We are a short 10-minute drive to the world famous Butchart Gardens, the Butterfly Gardens, charming Sidney by the Sea (theatre, cinema, restaurants), as well as golf courses, lakes and beaches.

The Victoria International Airport, BC Ferries and the Sidney / Anacortes Ferry are all within a 10-15 minute drive giving access to Vancouver, the Gulf Islands and the US.

Victoria with its diverse culture and many attractions is a scenic 25 minute drive. There you will find the stately Legislature Buildings and the famous Empress Hotel, the picturesque & active Inner Harbour, the excellent Royal British Columbia Museum, restaurants, theatres, galleries, a casino, horse-drawn carriages and whale watching boats waiting to show you nature from the ocean.
