We are an active and adventurous family with a passion for adventure, the outdoors, and nature. We tend to travel to small towns and villages with easy access to historical sites, hiking, and cycling. We love traveling in the late summer and fall, when the days are long and weather is warm. We are mountain people, and typically choose mountainous destinations. Since we are retired, we are flexible as to when we can travel. Our children are independent and usually don't travel with us (though we hope they will join us at times).

We completed our stay at Sharon and Dan's lovely condo in Silverthorne mid February and had a brilliant time. The condo itself was large , very compfortable , clean with the most amazing views......The location was perfect being very close to the excellent ski resorts of Copper Mountain, A Basin, Loveland with plenty of other famous resorts ( Vale) also very close.Sharon & Dan also lent us their 4 wheel drive car which was a major help to us and also gave us excellent inside info on how to procure ski pass deals which were a fraction of the resort 'rack rates'. If the above was not enough they were also kind enough to let us use their house in Boulder which we did so on a few 'white out' days as well as the night before we flew back home from Denver.For us this was a wonderful exchange experience fro us both where we have been lucky enough not only to have a fantastic experience but gain firm new friend in the process!.

Ski in Colorado this winter! Our light, bright and sunny condo backs to national forest and has great views. Convenient to 5 ski areas: Vail (30 min. drive), Beaver Creek (40 min. drive), Copper Mountain and Keystone (15 min. drive), Breckenridge,and A-Basin (20 minute drive. Cross country ski, snowshoe or hike from the back door.

Looking for simultaneous or non-simultaneous exchanges, our condo is only available from December 1st to May 15.

We are also interested in long-weekend exchanges with others who have properties on the IKON ski Pass.

Our condo is in a small and quiet complex that backs to national forest. There is hiking, mountain biking and cross country skiing right out the back door! The views look over Lake Dillon. The back wall is all glass, so it's the perfect place to watch the sunrise or the sunset!

I nostri consigli su cosa non perdere in questa zona

It's best to have a car at this condo, although there is a bus line nearby. There are 6 ski areas within about 30 minutes drive time. There is great hiking, mountain and road biking and cross country skiing depending on the season. Outlet mall is at the bottom of the street for easy shopping. Plenty of restaurants in the area, but all are a short drive.
