We live in the Village of Charlton which is situated two miles from the centre of the market town of Andover.
Our home is an extended 1920's cottage with two double bedrooms, a dressing room and bathroom. On the ground floor we have a sunny lounge, a separate dining room and a large newly fitted kichen with breakfast bar. There is a large office at the back of the house and a downstairs shower room with walk in shower and w.c. In the front of the house we have parking for two cars, and there is an enclosed garden at the back with barbecue and patio table.
Charlton village has good local amenities including a shop, post office, pub and church. The bus into Andover stops outside of the house every half an hour.
Andover railway station is under a mile from the house and is a direct line to London taking just over the hour.
We are well situated being just off the A303 which is the main artery to the West country.
The Cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester are half an hour away; Oxford and the New Forest can be reached within an hour.
There are several National Trust Properties close by and Highclere Castle (the home of Downton Abbey) is 20 minutes drive. Stonehenge is also about 20 minutes away.
