Thank you for agreeing to exchange with us. We had an amazing time. The kids were over the moon playing with Zeus, running in the garden and fetching the eggs from the chicken coup each morning. We loved roaming through the streets of the beautiful, old York during the day and gathering together around the roaring fire in the evening.

We loved our couple of weeks in Steve and Annie's home. We did yoga in the dream garden most mornings before we said hello to the chickens who are very sweet. Lots of wildlife and very tranquil. The house is very well equipped, cosy and well-loved. We made the most bikes cycling into York almost every day. We also explored the North York Moors and the stunning Robin Hood's Bay - we even got to swim in the North Sea - brrr!

The house was perfect for our family of four, well-equipped with games, TV, great kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. There was lots to do nearby and we appreciated the restaurant recommendations in the house. Thanks for exchanging with us,

The local bus takes you into the heart of York, or a short drive away is the Park and Ride. Home is very large and set in beautiful countryside. Lovely garden but unfortunately the weather wasn't quite warm enough to allow us to sit out, but it was perfect for walking around the Dales. Bed was very comfortable and the lounge was lovely, although we spent most of our time in the kitchen diner and tv/sitting room. Highly recommend this excellent home.
