It is a short walk to many restaurants and to a reservoir with perimeter pedestrian/cycle path directly behind the house.
Stratford -Upon -Avon is a 45 minute drive and other National Trust properties are even closer. London is a short train train ride and day-trips are easy to arrange.
The reservoir has a 2km circular walk and lots of wildlife including kingfishers, grebes and and a variety of wild birds. We have a wildlife camera and have spotted badgers and foxes in the garden at night.
