Descrizione della casa che offriamo
Casa Rosa is In the very heart of Taos in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Northern New Mexico where art, nature, good food and interesting people abound. Walk to museums, galleries, shopping, restaurants, bars, music clubs, concerts. In winter ski; in summer, hike. On summer evenings, dance to live music on the Plaza. On Saturday mornings, shop the farmers market.
With architectural details such as thick adobe walls, artisan iron work, vigas, hand painted Mexican tiles and 3 beautiful but non functioning kiva fireplaes
The cottage has plenty of light, unusual for an historic adobe. It has 2 bedrooms, each with a king bed.
The two baths have Mexican hand painted tiles. One comes with a spacious shower, and the second has both tub and shower.
The kitchen is well stocked. There is off street parking and a shady courtyard for meals or cocktails.
Casa Rosa is an enclave of quiet in an interesting small town that is surrounded by the high desert and the alpine ski valley.

Descrizione del vicinato e dei paraggi
Taos has long attracted artists and naturalists. Casa Rosa is in the heart of this small city, but provides easy access to the mountains, streams, mesas, forests and high deserts that surround it. There is great variety of landscapes and great variety of activities. Taos provides the urban pleasures of shopping, good restaurants, good markets, art, music, museums, bars, dancing, festivals that celebrate everything wool to art to solar energy, but everywhere around it are opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Rent bikes, kayaks, horses or fishing guides. Hike or amble. Join a wildflower, bird watching or architectural tour. And, of course, ski and do all the winter sports that the Ski Valley offers. Taos is an informal place with quirky, interesting and friendly people.
Further afield, but less than a scenic hour and half drive away are, to the north, the green forests of Colorado and, to the south, sophisticated Santa Fe.
Any season, Taos is a great place for a holiday!

I nostri consigli su cosa non perdere in questa zona
Everyone knows about the Taos Ski Valley and its famous powder. But aside from winter sports of skiing, snowboarding and snow shoeing, people are passionate about the Ski Valley in the summer too because of its mountain biking paths and its many and varied hiking trails And, these are not just confined to the Ski Valley. Taos is surrounded by national forests and land owned by the Pueblo Indians.
All this natural beauty provides limitless opportunity for exploration. Hikes, biking, fly fishing, horse back riding, kayaking, tubing and river rafting on the Rio Grande.
In town, walk everywhere from Casa Rosa. Kit Carson Park, a block away, aside from providing green space and jogging trails is the site of festivals throughout the year that celebrate solar power, wool, music, art, food and the cultures of Taos. Go to the Taos website for a complete list.
Don't leave without visiting the artist hamlet of Arroyo Seco or driving the enchanted Circle or taking scenic train ride in Chama, Co
