We are set in a quiet wooded area just north of Route 1 - Lewes is the gateway to Delaware Beaches. As our community name "Covered Bridge Trails" suggests you enter through our quaint covered bridge and we also have direct access to the Lewes-Georgetown Rail Trail teaming with walkers and bicyclists. Start your morning with a 1/2 mile walk to Old World Breads - voted best bakery in Delaware and end your day by a similar walkin the other direction to Fish On or several other restaurants in the Five Points abbutting community with Weis Supermarket, CVS, and a host of other shops. We are definately a "dog community" so bring your dog to our own dogpark for some morning exercise and a chat with neighbors. Covered Bridge Trails is mostly (75%) 55+ but you'll see plenty of kids at our playground or pool. Our home owners asscociation hosts a variety of community socials ( pool parties, ice cream & food trucks sun) and activity groups (Pickleball, gardeners, pool aquacise, yoga, zumba, book group)
