Alexandra and her family were wonderful homelinkers providing us with an abundance of information + recommendations to ensure our swap was the best it could possibly be. We enjoyed days paddleboarding on Lake Constance, visited the island of Mainau via ferry, explored Meersburg, Sipplingen and Bodman. We loved the therme spa in Uberlingen and went twice. On a wet day we climbed the 155 steps of the Mole tower in Friedrichshafen harbour. The baroque church in Birnau is a must visit, even just for the panoramic views at its entrance. The family home is really beautiful, modern and very comfortable. We used the BBQ, had meals in the garden and found all the home facilities to be great. Super house swap experience with incredibly friendly, helpful hosts.

Die wunderschöne Bodensee Umgebung bietet viele tolle Ausflugsziele, so dass 10 Tage wie im Flug vergehen... Tausend Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft!

This exchange was marked by serenity, first that of the shores of Lake Constance punctuated by the quiet comings and goings of ferries and the peaceful movement of sailboats, then that of Uhldingen-Mulhofen, a small seaside and rural resort where the bicycle is king, and that of the high-tech house of Alexandra and Rolland! A bright, spacious, modern residence, ideal for discovering this corner of paradise rich in its heritage as much as in its agriculture. Its vegetable garden rich in flavor and its aviary where quails and parakeets cohabit give an additional cachet to this house. In addition, Alexandra's organization was impeccable in every detail. Everything is so calm and so perfect on these lakesides that we are trying to find out what our German friends' recipe is! It was our third exchange in Germany and we come back each time enriched by our discoveries as much as by the quality of the relationships we had with our hosts. An exchange is not only the provision of real estate, it is above all the meeting, often more epistolary than physical, between people who have total confidence in each other... and that is already a lot in this crowded world. mistrust and anger!! With Alex and Rolland, the contact was constant throughout the exchange and I am sure that we will both keep the best memories of these few days shared...

Everything was great! The house is beautiful, modern, very well equiped (you'll find everything you need and even more!) and there is a nice garden with vegetables, fruits, swimming pool, trampoline and animals (quails and small rabbits). The location is very good as well, close to the lake (especially by bike it is perfect, you just need a few minutes) and with many good places to visit closeby (Mainau, Rheinfall, lake pools, lots of beautiful bike tracks...). And above all Alexandra is very kind and very helpful: she prepared everything for us to have a great time, many explanations and recommendations. It is the perfect home exchange!

A short bike trip to the lake, with adventure playground and everything you wish. Lunch in a „Fischimbiss“, eating tasty fresh fish for a bargain. A lot of swimming and in the evening go to the public bath, eating freshly grilled food. This is what a relaxed vacation day may look like at family Gering. We enjoyed the time, also because the area is prepared for tourism and offers something for everyone in the family. Highlight of our trip was the visit to the Affenberg with storks and feeding of the apes. The family home is beautiful and in a quiet neighborhood. The gorgeous garden offers vegetables and fruits. Many thanks for the tips and ideas, also on short notice depending on our situation. We would have loved to do more but the time went out quickly. A fabulous exchange! Alexandra and Roland are very generous people and really very warm! Their children Carina and Léo are exceptionally kind! The house is really beautiful, modern, very clean and functional! It is located a stone's throw from the river and 5 minutes from the lake! The location is ideal to go there by bike, all the pretty little towns to visit are close by! Their garden is very pleasant with a vegetable garden, quails, fruit trees! Alexandra sends many messages to guide us in our journey! They have been fabulous hosts that we will never forget!Thanks for all ! A very nice meeting with people of rare generosity ! The house of Alex & Roland is very beautiful. It's new, well furnished with a huge garden. They have a fireplace, sauna & whirlpool which was fantastic. We felt at home at once. They had fresh apples from the Bodensee and a great bottle of wine for us - what else do you need. The instructions were Perfect for using everything in the house. we had a great & quiet time for us and explored the Bodensee area. Everything is near by. You will LOVE IT!

We loved the house: light and equipped with all comfort. Alex prepared everything in detail and the reception was perfect like in a hotel. We felt at home at once. The children were thrilled by the collection of toys and books. We all enjoyed cycling around, the cylce paths were just perfect. Uhldingen is a great starting point for excursions, the lakeside and a lot of attractions can be reached within a couple of minutes. We loved the Lake Constance region: the beautiful landscapes, much different from Northern Germany; the beaches and swimming in the lake; the culinary highlights (the recommended restaurants were excellent). Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, das Haus ist wunderbar, die Umgebung ebenso. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Danke für die schöne Zeit am malerischen Bodensee! Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen: die Ausstattung ist bequem und kinderfreundlich. Alles war perfekt vorbereitet. Alexandra und Roland sind sehr gastfreundlich und haben uns viele Empfehlungen gegeben, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir haben sowohl die Fahrradtouren mit dem Kinderanhänger sehr genossen, als auch die zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Liebe Familie Gering, ihr habt ein ruhig gelegenes, wunderschönes Haus (groß, geräumig, modern und gemütlich) in dem man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Euer Garten und die Terrasse sind auch wunderbar. Wir hatten viel Spaß bei euch und haben viele nette Ausflüge rund um den Bodensee unternommen. Unseren Kindern hat vor allem der Affenberg Salem und das Ravensburger Spieleland gefallen.
