Our apartment is located near the main sights of Paris, thanks to the metro line 1 (station Bérault or Château de Vincennes) which is a 4 minutes walk from our building. The metro is direct to Le Louvre, le jardin des Tuileries, Beaubourg / Center Pompidou, Opera Bastille, Champs-Elysées, Place de la Concorde, the Marais district, the Paris City Hall, Notre-Dame, a walk on the docks of the Seine …
The RER A (Station Vincennes), which is 6 minutes walk from the house, is direct to the Opera Garnier, department stores (Galeries Lafayette, Printemps) and also to Disneyland.
We live in a very nice neighborhood at the edge of the Bois de Vincennes where you can have a picnic, walk, run, bike, go on boat trips on the two great lakes, play tennis ... We are also 2 minutes by foot of the Château de Vincennes and the Parc Floral de Paris. The Paris' Zoo is a 10-minute walk away (or 2 bus stops) and has opened again after extensive development work.
At the end of our street you will find a bakery, a grocery store, a pharmacy, a caterer, a wine shop, three supermarkets (including an organic food store), a market (on Saturdays mornings), restaurants , cafes, a cinema and the Tourist Office. We are also near the center with its many shops, cafes and good restaurants and another big market (Tuesdays, Fridays and Sunday mornings).
