Spacious appartment in eastern docklands of Amsterdam, very close to the centre (10 min. cycling). There are three sleeping rooms (max. 5 persons), a large sitting room, Wifi and a shaded balcony on the south.

The bus stop is in front of our entrance and excellent public transport is available throughout the Amsterdam metropolitan area and the country. All main musea and tourist attractions are close by, still we live surprisingly tranquile on an island just two kilometers east of Central Station.

Our neighbourhood is suitable for smaller kids also. There are save public gardens between the appartment blocks, but keep an eye on the little ones, since deep waters surround our blocks. The water is good for a swim in the summer, at the south side of our island (only small boats, no passing ships), regulary checked, but at one's own risk.

We have a wide view on the harbor front, where classic charters, sailing ships, river and ocean cruisers pass by every day. Our house is close to the circular and within 30-45 minutes drive to some of the main Dutch beaches. Also close to Germany and Belgium (within 90 car minutes).
