Hello!
We are a family of four, Susanne, Brage, Norvald (7 years old) and Ellisiv (4 years old).
Susanne works as a teacher (norwegian, social studies and history) and Brage is the leader of Kreftforeningen Nord-Norge (Norwegian cancer society).
After two years of corona we look forward to a home exchange this year.

Descrizione della casa che offriamo
High standard house in the cozy town of Tromsø 69° north. In the summer we have the midnight sun shining all day around and in the winter it's opposite, with little sun, but much beautiful northern lights.
The house holds a good standard and we renovated the kithen, both bathrooms, main bedroom and hallway 2018-2020. Good bus connections with bus stop right outside the house. The house is a good base for exploring Tromsø beautiful nature and activities.
Next summer (2022) we wish to exchange a house with room for 4 adult and four kids (us and our friends with their two kids. Read more about us all further down). We are all peaceful people and are looking for a relaxing holyday. We are looking for a house with 4 or 5 bedrooms.

Our neighborhood is a quiet familiy erea. There is a very good equipped grocery store 200m from the house.

From our house it's a short walk to Telegrafbukta (10min).
Tromsø Museum (10min). A OK museum, but would rather recommend museums in the city center.
Other:
bus connections to
- Fjellheisen (Cable car)
- The city center (cafes, museums etc.)
- Jekta (Shopping mall)
- Ishavskatedralen ( The arctic cathedral)
Feel free to ask us for help with the buses and destinations.
If you want to explore the beautiful north norwegian nature, we recomend you rent a car to get off the Tromso Island. The bus connections are limited. Many beautiful places you can rech by car. Ask us and we can give you hiking tips!
In the winter Tromsø has a lot of northern light, often visible from the house. But it's best to get out of the light pullution in the city for a better northern light conditions.

It is important to find our place neat and tidy when we get back. We hope you will treat our home as your own and leave it as you yourself would wish to find it. We have tenants downstair (3 students, great guys). They have their own separate entrance. No smoking inside and no parties.
