Rebekka has lived in Oslo since 1998 and knows Oslo like the inside of her pocket. I have only lived in Oslo since 2009. Before that i have spent shorter periods in different parts of Norway, and studied 1 year in Australia and 4 years in the Netherlands. We both like to travel, both in Norway and other places. We enjoy culture (theatre, concerts) and food/coffee, as well as sights and different outdoor activities. We have three small kids who loves to play and experience new things.
Me and my daughter are allergic to cats, and are not able to stay in a home where a cat is kept (or has been recently kept) inside.

We are looking for an exchange for our summerholiday, 2023!
Spacious house with a large garden, and short distance to the beach, the forest, and to the main capital of Norway, Oslo.
The house has a big living room, kitchen, bathroom and a tv-room (with a dobble-bed sofa) on the ground floor. In the first floor there are three bedrooms. One with a dobble-bed, the second with two bed, and the third with one bed. This floor contains also a bathroom. On the second floor we use as an office, but there is also a madrass if needed.
The house is located in a quiet place right outside the center of Oslo. It has a big garden with a trampoline, sandpit and a plastic pool in the summer. We also have different outdoor games like badminton, croquet, laboulle.. The garden has spaces for both sun and shadow, and the sun goes down at 0930 pm at summertime. It is filled with big appel trees and flowers. It is a fantastic place in the summertime.

Our neighbourhood is quiet. Supermarkets a few minutes walk away, and we have our fantastic lokal restuaurant "Essa" 10 min waking from our house. Transport to the City centre of Oslo (train/bus) goes really often, and takes about 10-15 min from us to the city center.
We are a family who likes to be outdoor. Oslo has extreme proximity to both the see/fjord and to beautiful hiking paths. We are not surrounded by the largest mountains, but the nature here is still beautiful, and unlike the western/northern parts of Norway, the climate here invites to outdoor activities. The city itself has much to offer. Both culture, sights and gastronomic experiences. It is one of the worlds leading coffee cities (nordic roast), and has several areas of independent shopping stores.

We are looking for a family friendly place, were we can stay with our three kids. We love our home and we would like to find people who do the same :) We will of course treat your home with a lot of respect.
