Darlene and Ken are both retired educators. We have lived in Canada, Turkey, Poland and the Bahamas over the past twenty years.In our years overseas we have explored most of the countries of Europe, some in Africa and South America and most states in the US. CURRENTLY SEEKING 2023 EXCHANGES. Our thoroughly modern & furnished condo is the sub penthouse (20th floor) overlooking the Bow River Valley and adjacent park. Calgary is a modern cosmopolitan city of 1.3 million situated within easy driving distance of Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise and the Rocky Mountains. Whether your interests are historic, sporting, recreational, or cultural, Calgary offers a unique opportunity to explore all of them.
Our condo is located two minutes from a major park and walking/bike path on the Bow River, five minutes from a major shopping mall, and ten minutes from the city centre. Despite its central location, the vistas from our balconies are rural, hilly, and tranquil. The Calgary Stampede held in early July is world renowned for its rodeo and related western activities including daily free pancake breakfasts in the morning and rousing chuckwagon races in the evening.

Our neighbourhood is a quiet residential area situated on the northern bank of the Bow River and adjacent to Edworthy Park. Our condo is a five minute walk from an extensive walking/biking network that extends for over 20 miles. At the same time we have remarkable access to a major mall (5 minutes), the University of Calgary and Foothills Hospital (5 minutes) and downtown Calgary (10 minutes). We definitely have the best of both worlds - peace and tranquility near all modern amenities.
