In winter, Lindau is ideally located near several ski resorts: Luggi Leitner-Lift is only 30 minutes by car, Bödele 30 minutes, Damüls/Mellau 40 minutes, Laterns-Gapfohl 50 minutes, Gurtis-Bazora 1 hour, Silvretta Montafon 1 hour, and the largest ski resort in Austria, Ski Arlberg, is just 1.5 hours by car or 1 hour 40 minutes by train.

During December, Lindau transforms with the enchanting Lindauer Hafenweihnacht, a Christmas market that captivates visitors with its festive atmosphere. The market's charming stalls, twinkling lights, and seasonal cheer make it a highlight of the winter season.
