In a quiet residential neighborhood, all daily shopping in walkable distance (bakeries, cake store, 3 supermarkets, post office,..).
The suburb of Allmansdorf/ Staad was originally its own little village, got incorporated to Konstanz 100 years ago. Still has its own “towncenter”.
At the leak (2 min walk) several great restaurants and cafes.
Easy commute to downtown Konstanz (every 15 min by bus throughout the hole day: 15 min ride) or by bike 15 min along the lake or neighborhood.
Ferry ride to historic town of Meersburg.
Konstanz is a University / college town with lots of life throughout the year. During the summer months it is sparkling, bars, restaurants, cafes everywhere.
Lake Konstanz is one of the big tourist destinations of Germany and offers a big selection of activities and tourist spots. The city borders Switzerland, a few min walk and you cross the border (60 train/car minutes from Zurich). Austria is a little over an hour by car.
