Town House located in Paris area (located in Alfortville - 2kms from Paris / South East)
Built in 1880, fully renovated in 2010.
The house has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, plus an independant basement (bedroom + bathroom + WC / Laundry), with a big garden (350 sq meters) in Alfortville.
The house is with 3 floors :
- on the ground floor, we have a large living room, kitchen, a bathroom, one bedroom for parents (bed : 180*200)
- on the first floor, there are two attic rooms with independant toilet. It is our kids bedrooms (bed 1 : 140*190 + bed 2 : 90*190), just under the roof
- on the basement, there are a bedroom (bed : 140*190 + a couch), a bathroom (= also the laundry) + toilets
Alfortville is very well desserved by public transportations (subway, RER high-speed train service, bus, cycling lanes)

Quiet and safe neighbourhood, mainly families and children. Our family (parents, cousins) lives in the town and will enjoy to help if you need.
To go to Paris: 7 min walk to train station (RER D, one stop from Paris, 10 min to Châtelet-Les Halles which is the very city center), 15 min walk to underground station (line 8, 20 min to go to Bastille). 40 min by train (RER) to go to Disneyland Paris.
20 min from Paris-Orly Airport by taxi (flights for France and Europe) and 45 min from Paris Charles de Gaulle (international airport)
Shops: "Monoprix" supermarket at 100 m, bakeries-cake shop, cheese shop, butcher, fishmonger, drugstores, wine shop, brewery, pharmacy, restaurants and take-away, bookstore,... An open air market in the street just behind the house every Wednesday and Sunday morning (fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese, butchery...). Café in the city hall square, playground for children.

Bicycle path: to Paris downtown, and 10 min to go to the "Bois de Vincennes" (Lake Daumesnil). We have 2 bicycles for adults +1 e-bike, 2 bikes for children.
Public swimming pool/training center.
Free Library / cultural center / theatre (with a good restaurant inside).

Very close to Paris to visit, and very quiet to have some rest, specially on sunny days in the garden
We have a turtle named O'Driscoll who lives in the garden (no need to take care, she helps herself). And a dog Labrador Retriver named Roma, but she will stay with family or friends during the exchange.
Smoking not allowed inside the house.
