Hello!
We are a bilingual couple: I'm English and my husband is French. We live and work in Paris. We have two grown up children who no longer holiday with us. We love spending as much time as possible at Villerville to relax, walk on the beach, meet with village friends, visit castles and their gardens, cycling, hiking and I particularly love watercolour painting! There is plenty to see and do in Normandy!
We are experienced Homelink members since 2014 and had a great time exchanging homes & visiting: Great Britain (Edinburgh & Devon), Holland (Amsterdam), Italy, Spain (Barcelona), USA (Palm Springs), Canada (Montreal), Belgium (Bruges), France (Marseille) to name but a few!

Close by, there is a wooded park with picnic area and wonderful view of the sea. There's a children's play area and not to mention two strips of beaten earth to play "pétanque" and drink your pastis! Great way to meet the locals :-)
TOURIST ATTRACTIONS:
HONFLEUR:
Popular historical medieval market town with art galleries, shops, museums, park, fishing and leisure port, boat trips, restaurants, bars and weekly markets. Famous artists lived or painted Honfleur such as Turner, Monet, Boudin, Jongkind, Courbet, Dufy and many more. The composer Eric Satie was born in Honfleur, his birthplace has been turned into a delightful museum.
DEAUVILLE & TROUVILLE:
Deauville and its neighbour Trouville are often referred to as the 'Parisian riviera'. If Deauville is a dashing boulevardier, Trouville is the frivolous painted lady by his side. Separated by nothing more than the River Touques, they each possess a casino, a beachfront boardwalk and a string of flamboyant Belle Époque villas, yet they look and feel quite different, the former suave, sophisticated and starry, the latter happy-go-lucky and fun for all the family.
Deauville is well known for its glamorous boardwalk and long row of wooden bathing cabins, each named after film stars who have attended the American Film Festival, held there every September.
D-DAY BEACHES:
Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, Sword Beach, Juno Beach, Gold Beach, Arromanches are just some of the D-Day beaches where the American, Canadian, English soldiers landed on Normandy's beaches on 6th June 1945. Pegasus bridge and the American Cemetery are closest to us and can be visited within a day by car.
