The charming house nearby the Loire was a great place to discover this wonderful area. We made a lot of trips to visit the castles, the Troglodyt caves, the beaches on the Atlantic (e.g. Noirmountier), the Leonardo da Vinci museum by Amboise. Some days we stay simply at home to use the garden, where you can play table tennis and do archery; to enjouy the silence and the peaceful nature. At night you have a sky full of stars. We had two wonderful weeks in the "Pays de la Loire"! Annie and Eric's house offered us a quiet and charming place to rest from our busy lifes, and we enjoyed the calmness and the green views around the garden very much. On other days we went to beautiful cities like Angers (summer festival on Saturday evenings!), Nantes (ile des Machines!), Saumur (classical concert at the castle!), visited Chateau de Brissac, went canoeing on the Louet river, and took the bikes to discover the region. We felt like at home and can recommand this place to everybody!

Dear Annie & family, we felt very comfortable in your nice house and garden. It was lovely to visit the Loire Valley with your bikes! We also liked to visit the beautiful surroundings (Angers, castles, ..). Thank you very much!

Cher Eric et Annie, We still have very fine memories to our stay in your cosy house in Rochefort-sur-Loire! Coming from the city, we really enjoyed the peace and calm of the Loire valley, the garden, the meadows, the water... and of course our visit to Angers and to the chateau de Brissac.
