The house is located in a wine growing areas at the bottom of the Bisamberg (more a hill than a "Berg"/mountain) which is a recreational area well suited for walking, hiking and mountain bike tours. The City of Vienna an its attractions are nearby. By car it takes less than half an hour to the centre of Vienna and all major attractions. By public transport, you take a bus (20 min) to reach the Vienna subway.
Twice a week, there is a market with local groceries taking place at the main square of Korneuburg, 2 km away. A public swimming pool is also quite close.
A trip to romantic Wachau (wine growing valley) with historic towns and beautiful walking and biking paths takes about 45 minutes.
