We exchanged with Caron and Robert over Christmas and New Year. This involved meeting up with our kids and a friend who were travelling as well as my brother who stayed with us. Caron and Robert worked with us to make this possible for which we were very grateful. The house itself is huge ! There is a lovely patio, garden. We really loved the proximity to the beaches which allowed a regular morning swim. Normally the house can be used as a base to explore the surrounding areas. During our stay there were forest fires which limited our movements but the easy access to Sydney by train meant we still had a great time exploring the city. The house itself was tidy and welcoming. We organised a car swap and this also worked very well. The local town is close by and you can buy everything you need there as well as offering plenty of possibilities to eat out. We had a lovely time at the house and have a lot of special memories related to this stay, little did we know that this was a last innocent pre-covid holiday ! We're grateful to Caron and Robert for making this possible and recommend swapping with them.
