We are semi retired and love good food & wine. We try & keep fit with our gym memberships that get used often and our wonderful morning bike rides. We have travelled the world but due to Covid, travelling close to home seems the only safe option. Africa is our love and we have projects in Uganda to help the less fortunate.

For active senior couples only.
We live in a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment on the 7th floor & one block from the beach. The Phoenican Resort boasts a gym and 2 pools, 1 being indoors with a spa and sauna.
We are in the centre of the entertainment precinct of Broadbeach with over 60 restaurants and cafes at our doorstep. This apartment is not for a quiet getaway, it’s more for fun, entertainment and eating out. Although lazing around the beautiful pool or relaxing on the beach a very relaxing option. Once the glass sliding doors are closed you can pick up a book or watch TV and keep out the world. So it’s not all about going out.
The fantastic Pacific Fair Shopping centre is only a 6 minute walk. Darling casino only 4 minutes and the Gold Coast Entertainment Centre only 2 minutes.
Back to the apartment....The bedroom is seperate and has a King bed. The combined lounge/dinning room has a modern Italian leather recliner lounge n(no sofa bed) and a dinning table for 4.
If the entertainment precinct is not enough we have a huge Plasma TV with Netflix and youtube available. There is a gas outdoor BBQ and outdoor setting on the balcony with good ocean views. Our fully equipped kitchen consists of a dishwasher, induction stove top & oven.
All linen is provided including beach towels.
We can arrange a cleaner to do the linen etc and this can be arranged by you at your end for us.

The light rail is a 1 minute walk which takes you to the north, Surfers paradise (2 stops), Southport and right through to Helensvale.
The Gold Coast convention centre is behind the complex across the road and the amazing Darling Casino is only a 5 minute walk.
The unique Pacific Fair shopping centre is a 10 min walk or 1 light rail stop south.
This location is just a 20 minute Limo or bus 777 to Gold Coast International Airport, and a 1 hour flight to Sydney. Just a 45 minute journey to Brisbane city, a 3 hour
flight up to the Great Barrier Reef. Within 30 minutes are seveal National Parks with great walking trails to enjoy.
The Gold Coast is Australia's premier holiday destination for you to meet local Australians.
